Bassbaba set to return to music

Saidus Salehin Khaled Sumon aka Bassbaba has come home after going through difficult times due to certain health problems. One of the leading bass guitarists of the country, as well as a singer and composer in his own right, Bassbaba has undergone several medical surgeries in the last two months. According to reports, at one point his life life was at stake due to the repeated complex surgeries that were performed - part of his long-running battle against cancer.
However, Bassbaba is now in full recovery. The frontman of Aurthohin informed us that he feels better now after a long period of time, and physicians have asked him to rest for a few days.
In the meantime, the vocalist-bassist is also gearing up to return to music. He said that after the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, he will return to live stage shows.
Sumon also revealed that he is currently busy wrapping up some albums, which includes a duet with Anila, his band Aurthohin’s next studio album and some international collaboration records.
In October last year, he dropped his debut instrumental album Soul Food which features some international musicians like Felix Pastorius, Robert “Bubby” Lewis, Josh Cohen, Bob Franceschini, JD Blair and Erfan Nazem Zadeh. Talented Bangladeshi drummer, Mark Don is also featured in one of the tracks. He also released a studio album with his band titled Cancer-er Nishikabyo.
