Misha Sawdagar new president of Cholochitro Shilpi Shomiti

Misha Sawdagar, known for his negative portrayals in Dhallywood films, has been elected as the president of Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Shomiti. Misha and Zayed Khan Panel was elected for next two years for directing the committee. Earlier the voting in the election of the film actors association was held on Friday. Misha got 259 votes while his nearest opponent Omar Sany got 153 votes. Actor Zayed Khan was elected as General Secretary with 279 votes. His nearest opponent actor Amit Hasan got 145 votes. A total of 57 candidates contested for 21 posts in the committee, which will be valid for the next two years. A total of 558 voters out of 624 exercised their franchise in the election. Three executive panels, headed by Omar Sani-Amit Hasan, Misha Sawdagar-Zayed Khan and Danny Sidak- Ilius Kobra, contested the election. Director Mantajur Rahman Akbar headed the election commission.
