Iconic singer Sabina Yasmin, who has a long list of classic playbacks and celebrated tunes to her credit, has lent her voice for a new patriotic song.
With Sahid Rahman’s lyrics, Alauddin Ali’s tune and Maksud Jamil Mintu’s composition, the singer’s new track commemorates the freedom fighters of the country in the month of liberation.
About her latest patriotic number, Yasmin said, “I’ve recorded a song with such powerful lyrics after a long time. Although, the debt of the martyrs can never be paid, this song pays a small tribute to them from me.”
“It’s been a long time since I’ve tuned a song for Sabina Yasmin. I hope this song will be remembered by people like her other iconic songs,” said Alauddin Ali, the legendary music director of the country.
Music video of the track is already prepared and will be available to music aficionados on the Independence Day.
Born in 1953, Sabina Yasmin is one of the most notable playback singers in Bengali movies, who has won 12 National Film Awards to date under the ‘best female playback singer’ category.
