Performers on the Joy Bangla Concert

One of the most anticipated events for local rock fans, the Joy Bangla Concert is being organised by Young Bangla today. The platform aims to use music as a tool to introduce the young generation to the true history of Bangladesh. The concert will be held at Dhaka’s Army Stadium, the same venue where it was organised last year. The concert is an initiative that has been undertaken to mark the historic announcement of Bangladesh’s Liberation War by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 7, 1971.

Popular bands Warfaze, Cryptic Fate, Arbovirus, Nemesis, Shironamhin, Shunno, Lalon and Chirkut will perform at the third edition of the concert. Showtime got in touch with several bands to get some inside scoop on their preparations for the grand event.
