Dipjol seriously ill, taken to Singapore

Monowar Hossain Dipjol, the notorious villain of Dhallywood, is severely ill. According to sources, Dipjol fell seriously ill on Tuesday and was rushed to the CCU of the capital’s Labaid Hospital. Later, doctors informed that the 59 years old actor, politician and businessman, had suffered a heart attack and is currently diagnosed with Pleural effusion, also called “water in the lung.” He was under the care of Dr Baren Chakaraborty. However, Dipjol was taken to Singapore for better treatment on Wednesday afternoon in an air-ambulance. He’ll be admitted to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital, confirmed by director Mantazur Rahman Akbar. “Basically, he is taken to Singapore for some tests and for a better treatment. Dipjol has been suffering from a cold, followed by asthma for a week now. But he fell seriously ill on Tuesday,” said Akbar. Dipjol has teamed up with actor Moushumi and director Montazur Rahman Akbar for a new film titled Dulabhai Zindabad. Scripted by Abdullah Zahir Babu, he will appear alongside Moushumi as the male lead of the film, which is slated to be released on October 13.
