JCI Dhaka Sparks launched project ‘Digital Enlightenment Phase-2’

JCI Dhaka Sparks launched the "Digital Enlightenment Phase 2" project at Pingolia Siddiquia Kamil Madrasah in Kashiani of Gopalganj. 

The project targets foundational digital literacy through two interventions -- a TOT program that equips teachers with basic computer literacy and accessible resources to teach and test batches of students who will receive specialized training on Word, PowerPoint, and other available learning resources. 

The project covers SDG-4 Quality Education, SDG-7 Decent Work, and SDG-10 reduced inequalities.

Milon Saha, AC Land, Kashiani, Gopalgonj was the chief guest on that project inauguration program. Mohammad Ali Khokon, chairman - UP 5, Kashiani, Gopalgonj, Munshi Wahiduzzaman, chairperson, board of trustees and Kashiani Press Club, Md Nijamul Alam Murad, general secretary of Kashiani press club, and Noor E Alam Bhuiyan, local president of JCI Dhaka Sparks were present on this occasion. 

Md Mehedi Hasan, UNO, Kashiani, Gopalganj coordinated the entire event. 

The chief guest emphasized the importance of such skills-focused training of teachers and students while particularly appreciating the teachers' program. 

At the program, Principal Md Mujibor Rahman Mollah and other senior teachers of the organization also joined at the inauguration. 

A total of 12 teachers and 50 students participated in the program with great enthusiasm. Nine mentors from JCI Dhaka Sparks taught in a group task practical format working with MS Office applications, using emails, freelancing, and outsourcing works.

This project was led by Altaf Hossain, local director of JCI Dhaka Sparks, and Coordinated by project director Namul Hossain Mishu and Mostafijur Rahman Shuvo. 

Board members and general members of JCI Dhaka Sparks were also present at this event.
