Bengal Commercial Bank has opened its Anwara Branch at Chaturi, Chittagong.
Vice Chairman of the bank and President of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mahbubul Alam inaugurated the branch on Thursday, reads a press release.
Managing Director and CEO of the bank Tarik Morshed presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Anwara Upazila Parishad Chairman Towhidul Hoq Chowdhury and Karnaphuli Upazila Parishad Charman Faruk Chowdhury attended the program as special guests.
Other top officials of the bank, clients, businessmen and local elites were also present on the occasion.
So far, the bank has opened 12 branches. It has plans to open a Hasnabad branch in South Keraniganj and Dhanmondi branch very soon, said the official.
