The government has decided to keep fuel prices unchanged for October, with diesel, kerosene, petrol and octane retaining their current retail prices.
From Thursday, October 1 diesel will sell at Tk135 per litre, kerosene at Tk155, petrol at Tk160 and octane at Tk165.
The Energy and Mineral Resources Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources issued a notice on Wednesday, announcing the decision.
According to the notice, there will be no change in retail fuel prices in October in line with the government’s decision. The existing prices have been retained with the approval of the appropriate authority.
The prices were last revised on September 20, when the government increased the price of each fuel by Tk20 per litre.
