Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad has alleged that the BNP was responsible for the ongoing abductions and killings spree in the country.
He said: “BNP is responsible for the recent abductions and killing in the country.”
HM Ershad, also the special envoy of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, made the statement in a meeting at Thakurgoan on Tuesday afternoon.
He said: “Khaleda Zia's speech about Ziaur Rahman is a clear lie. They are now in a drowning situation as their political future has been thrown into darkness.”
