Rawshan: No guarantee of normal death in the country

Citizens of the country have no guarantee of dying a normal death due to the rise in abduction, murder and forced disappearances, Rawshan Ershad, Jatiya Party’s senior presidium member and leader of the opposition in parliament, said yesterday.

“If we cannot overcome this hurdle, we cannot save our country,” she said at a meeting in the capital.

“Adulteration has spread everywhere, including river pollution,” she said.  “The government should identify them and bring them to book, so that others learn a lesson.”

She also called for ensuring employment for the younger generation.

At another programme, JaPa Presidium member Delowar Hossain censured BNP chief Khaleda Zia for accusing party Chairman HM Ershad for the killing of Ziaur Rahman.
