Islami Andolan to hold procession on Saturday

Islami Andolan Bangladesh will hold a procession in the capital on Saturday, to protest several issues.

Party leaders held a preparatory meeting on Friday, to finalize the arrangements for the event. The procession will begin at 3pm in the Baitul Mukarram area.

The leaders said that the procession is being organized to protest against the conspiracy to eliminate Muslims under the guise of reforming the Waqf law in India, as well as to demand the abolition of the Women's Reform Commission.

The preparatory meeting was chaired by City Secretary Alhaj Abdul Awal Majumder, with speeches delivered by Dhaka Metropolitan South President Maulana Muhammad Imtiaz Alam, Altaf Hossain, Anwar Hossain, and others.
