Jatiya Party (JaPa) Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu has said that his party is now a promising political force for the upcoming elections.
He said: "People believe the JaPa is safer for everyone than any other political party. JaPa is a promising political force for the upcoming election."
He was speaking on Tuesday at a preparatory meeting for JaPa’s upcoming rally and protest march, scheduled for November 2, held at the JaPa central office in Kakrail.
He said: "The interim government has pledged to ensure everyone's freedom of speech, individual rights, and political rights. We believe this government will carry out necessary reforms and facilitate an inclusive and acceptable election as soon as possible. To strengthen the JaPa further ahead of the upcoming national election is essential."
The meeting was presided over by JaPa Dhaka South Metropolitan Convener and Presidium Member Mir Abdus Sabur Asud, with speeches by Presidium Members Golam Kibria Tipu, Advocate Md Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan, and others.
