The condition of ailing Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has improved, a medical team in Singapore has said.
The team of Mount Elizabeth Hospital examined the road transport and bridges minister on Tuesday morning.
Additional Secretary Belayet Hossain of the Road Transport and Highways Division said after the checkup, doctors declared that he is now in good condition.
He said the medical board will decide about the tests to be conducted on Obaidul Quader.

The senior Awami League leader will also go through a computerized tomography during the day (today).
The minister is now under the supervision of Dr Philip Koh, a senior consultant of cardiology department of the hospital, Belayet Hossain said.
Obaidul Quader was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on Sunday, following breathing complications.
Later, doctors found three blockages in his coronary arteries following an angiogram.
On Monday, he was flown to Singapore for better treatment following the advice of renowned Indian cardiologist Dr Devi Shetty.
