Senior leaders of BNP will hold an emergency meeting at the party’s chairperson’s office in Gulshan Sunday evening.
The leaders will discuss BNP’s ongoing crisis and work on a new strategy for dealing with it.
BNP standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain is supposed to preside over the meeting.
Shayrul Kabir, an official from the BNP chairperson’s office said: “Standing committee members, vice-chairman, members of the chairperson’s advisory council, joint general secretary and organizing secretaries will be present at the meeting.”
On the agenda are likely to be the Gazipur and Khulna City Corporation polls, future programs and Khaleda Zia’s release.
