Classes for first-year undergraduate students of the 2025–26 academic session at Jahangirnagar University are scheduled to begin on June 17.
The information was confirmed on Saturday by Syed Mohammad Ali Reza, deputy registrar of the university’s education section and member secretary of the central admission committee. A notice signed by him was also issued earlier regarding the matter.
He said that the migration list and fifth-phase admission selection results were published on the university’s admission website on May 4. Selected students were instructed to complete their online admission formalities between May 5 and May 7 by 11:59pm.
Students must also appear in person on May 10 between 9:30am and 3:30pm to confirm their admission.
During the admission confirmation process, students are required to submit their original SSC and HSC certificates and transcripts, a medical report collected from the university medical centre, an online subject preference form, and a photocopy of the admission test admit card. These documents must be submitted to the education branch of the registrar’s office through the respective department chair and dean.
