Animesh Dey, 28, son of Niranjan Dey, a resident of Fatikchari upazila in Chittagong, has graduated recently from Petroleum and Mineral Resources Department of the SUST.
Local sources said Animesh was having bath at the waterfall with his two friends on Monday afternoon. Suddenly, he slipped and fell into a ditch.
Later, firefighters recovered the body from Noyduaria area around 7:30pm.
The body was handed over to the family members without any autopsy.
