The authorities have seized 15 Eucalyptus trees that were earlier felled from Dhanua Kamalpur-Shrivardi border road in Bakshiganj of Jamalpur.
The trees were recovered after being blocked by the local forest department's beat officer on Wednesday.
Locals said that 15 Eucalyptus trees worth hundred of thousands of taka were cut down by Harunur Rashid, son of Achmat Ali Sarkar of local Satanipara village on Wednesday morning.
Locals informed the matter to Lauchapara Dumurtala beat officer, Md Ashraful Alam Khan.
