DGHS raid: 2 institutions temporarily closed in Rangamati

Kaptai Health Services on Wednesday conducted a drive in Kaptai upazila pending the announcement of the closure of all unregistered private health service institutions in Bangldesh as per the instructions of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The campaign was conducted in various private diagnostic centers and pathology in Kaptai upazila's new market, Baraichhari Sadar areas.

Kaptai Upazila Resident Medical Officer Dr Omar Farooq Roni headed this drive with the assistance of Upazila Sanitary Inspector Md Ilias.

During the drive, Kaptai Newbazar Hillview Diagnostic Center was given 2 weeks to renew licenses and Kaptai Diagnostic Center was directed to improve service quality.

 Meanwhile, due to the non-renewal of registration, Kaptai Health Services ordered Menka Pathology in Baraichari Sadar and Karnaphuli Pathology adjacent to Barognia Gate to remain closed until further notice. 

Apart from this, the Kaptai Health Services thanked the Chandraghona Christian Mission Hospital and Diagnostic Center for their up-to-date service quality.
