Four members of a family in Narayanganj sustained burn injuries after a fire broke out in their house following a gas leak explosion.
The incident took place at 5am on Tuesday in the district's Fatullah post office area, said Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy assistant director of the Narayanganj Fire Service and Civil Defence.
The victims are Anwar Hossain, 45, Rozina Begum, 40, and their two children Rohan, 15, and Roman, 12.

“We heard about the fire but it was extinguished before we reached the spot. We took the family members to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn And Plastic Surgery in a fire service ambulance,” the fire official told Bangla Tribune.
He also reported that a gas riser leak may have caused the fire.
