The authorities at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) have extended the suspension of in-person classes till February 21 complying with the government decision to contain the spread of Covid-19.
However, classes, examinations, and the admission process will continue using online facilities, said a press release on Sunday.
Earlier, the university suspended all academic activities in physical presence till February 6, 2022 as per a decision taken at an emergency virtual meeting of the academic council of BRUR arranged on January 22.
The offices of the university will remain open on a limited scale from 10am to 2pm through following the health directives of the government.
The residential halls will also remain open maintaining the health directives.
