Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug dealer with 1.29 kilograms of heroin in Natore during a raid on Saturday night.
RAB sources said the arrestee was identified as Muhammad Masum, 35, of Bogra.
Acting on a tip-off, they said, a RAB team conducted the raid in Sadar Upazila’s Babur Pukur area around 8:30pm Saturday and arrested Masum with the heroin.
Later, he and the seized heroin were handed over to the police on Sunday morning.
A case was also started against him at Sadar police station.
