Cox's Bazar district police on Sunday introduced a free ambulance service for Covid-19 patients living in the district.
Inaugurating the service in the morning Cox's Bazar Superintendent of Police (SP) M Hasanuzzaman, said: “Coronavirus infection is rising day by day…members of the police force are engaging themselves in rendering services to the people as frontline fighters.”
The patient will easily get the service by dialing 01320-109394 and 0341-64048 numbers. The service is applicable only to the residents of Cox’s Bazar district.
Later, while maintaining social distance, gift items were distributed by district police among 100 people.
