Two construction workers were killed when an under-construction wall caved in on them in the port city on Saturday.
The tragic incident took place by the Regional Election Office at Lovelane area under Kotwali police station around 12:30pm on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Md Salauddin, 20 and Md Shukkur, 21, confirmed Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Assistant Commissioner (Kotwali Zone) Noble Chakma.
Of them, Md Salauddin died on the spot while Md Shukkur died while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
ASI Alauddin Talukder of the CMCH police outpost told the Dhaka Tribune that a construction worker was brought to the hospital with critical injuries and died while undergoing treatment.
