The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has formed a three-member fact-finding committee over the recent attacks on indigenous villages in Langadu, Rangamati, according to a BSS report.
"The committee was formed yesterday with Banchita Chakma, chief honorary member of NHRC,” NHRC Public Relations Officer Farhana Sayed has said.

The committee has been asked to submit its report within four working days.
Many houses of the indigenous community in the area were vandalised and set on fire on June 2 after the death of a Bangali political leader named Nayan in Dighinala.
