The body of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) student Abrar Fahad has been buried at his ancestral home in Kushtia.
His body was buried in Raidanga graveyard under Kumarkhali upazila on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, the locals of Raidanga village staged protests, demanding justice for the murder.
An ambulance carrying Abrar's body arrived in Raidanga village around 8:30am in the morning.
A pall of gloom befell the entire village, as locals and Abrar's relatives swarmed the spot to get a last glimpse of Abrar.
Prior to that, Abrar's body was taken to their residence in Kushtia town via an ambulance, accompanied by his father Barkat Ullah, younger brother Abrar Faiyaz, and several relatives around 5:30am.

Abrar’s cousin Abu Talha Rasel said a namaz-e-janaza was also held at Buet Central Mosque around 9:45pm on Monday, before family members started for Kushtia.

Some Chhatra League leaders have been accused of beating him for his alleged involvement with Islami Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami.
Meanwhile, Abrar's father Barkat Ullah filed a murder case against 19 people with Chawkbazar police station on Monday evening.
Later, Bangladesh Chhatra League expelled 11 of its members permanently from the organization for their involvement in Abrar’s murder.
Abrar’s death sparked protest across Bangladesh. The protesters have demanded justice for Abrar and capital punishment for the murderers.
As of now, 10 people have been arrested in connection to the murder.
