Road accidents have killed three people and injured three more in two districts on Saturday.
In Thakurgaon, a man was killed in a road accident around 7:30am on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Khejmot Ali, 35.
Police said a microbus and a truck collided with each other.
Khejmot was sent to Thakurgaon Adhunik Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ashiqur Rahman said the dead body has been sent for autopsy.
In Sirajganj, two people have been killed and three others injured in a road accident in Kamarkhand upazila.
The incident occurred near Kashem intersection of Saidabad-Nalka highway around 7:45am on Saturday.
Police reported both the deceased are male - one aged around 60 and the other around 45. However, their identities are yet to be confirmed.
Confirming the matter to Dhaka Tribune, Bangabandhu Bridge (West Zone) police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Syed Shahid Alam said a speeding North Bengal-bound truck rammed a tow truck while trying to overtake it, killing two occupants of the tow truck.
Three others, including the driver of the truck, were injured in the accident.
Police and firefighters went to the spot after they were informed and sent the injured to 250-bed Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib General Hospital for treatment.
