Bodies of five Bangladeshi nationals, who lost their lives in a bus accident in Malaysia, have arrived in Bangladesh.
Malaysia Airlines flight MH 196, carrying the bodies of the five Bangladeshi youths, arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:05am on Saturday.
All bodies have been handed over to their relatives, along with a cheque of Tk35,000 for each family, to cover the costs of transportation and burial, confirmed Deputy Director of the Expatriate Welfare Desk Tanvir Hossain.
The deceased victims are: Al Amin, 24, and Sohel, 24, from Chandpur, Golam Mostafa, 22, from Noakhali, Mohin, 37, and Raju Munshi, 26, from Comilla.

A pall of gloom befell the airport as the families took custody of the bodies and headed home around 4am.
On April 7, a total of 12 people, including five Bangladeshis, were killed and 35 others injured after a bus carrying them skidded off the road, into a monsoon drain in Malaysia.
The accident occurred near the MAS Cargo Complex of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) along Jalan S8 Pekeliling in Sepang around 11:10pm on Sunday, reported New Straits Times.
KLIA district police chief Assistant Commissioner Zulkifli Adamshah in a statement confirmed that the deceased included five Bangladeshi men, four Indonesian women, two Nepali men, and the local bus driver.
