Two motorcyclists killed in Manikganj road accident

At least two motorcyclists have been killed as a bus collided head-on with their vehicle in Tepra Bus Stand area on Dhaka-Aricha highway under Sadar upazila. The accident took place around 8am Saturday. The corpses of Alamgir Hossain, 25, son of Ali Hossain from Uthali area under Shibaloi upazila, and Rajibul Islam, 26, son of Alauddin from Mohadevpur area of the upazila, were sent to the district hospital morgue for autopsy. It was learnt that both are friends. Borongail Highway police In-charge Yamin-ud-Daulla said a Dhaka-bound bus from Dharsona collided head-on with the motorcycle carrying the two leaving them dead on the spot. Police seized the bus though its driver and his helper managed escape soon after the accident.
