A Bangladeshi man named Md Jasim Uddin, 40, who suffered a road accident in Saudi Arabia in June this year, has succumbed to his injuries.
Confirming the matter to the Dhaka Tribune, Jasim’s brother Md Sumon Mia added that he died in the early hours of Wednesday around 4am.
Jasim’s family is overcome by a deathly gloom after news of his death reached home in Bangladesh.
Jasim, a native of Kamalganj Upazila of Moulvibazar, was in Saudi Arabia for the past 17 years.
He was critically injured in a road accident on June 23 and was under treatment at a Saudi hospital for 11 days.
Jasim’s family urged that his body be brought home for burial through government channels as soon as possible.
