The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) to four districts — Tangail, Nilphamari, Patuakhali and Pirojpur.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification on Tuesday, announcing the appointments.
According to the notification, Pirojpur Deputy Commissioner Abu Sayied has been transferred and appointed DC of Tangail.
Ministry of Public Administration Deputy Secretary Md Golam Rabbani has been appointed DC of Pirojpur.
Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of the Finance Division Md Humayun Kabir has been appointed DC of Nilphamari, while fellow Finance Division Deputy Secretary Chowdhury Ashraful Karim has been appointed DC of Patuakhali.
