The Cabinet Division has said that three ministries will closely monitor the overall situation, including law and order, during Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindu community.
Concerned divisions and departments under the ministries of home, education, and religious affairs have been entrusted with looking into the matter.
The Cabinet Division has requested all concerned to take necessary measures in this connection in accordance with the decision of the advisory council.
