The five advisers to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will remain the same in this government.
HT Imam will serve as the adviser for political affairs, Dr Mashiur Rahman for economic affairs, Dr Gowher Rizvi for international affairs, Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury for power, energy and mineral resources, and Major General (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique for security affairs.
The cabinet division on Monday issued a gazette notification, signed by Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam, appointing the five advisers to the prime minister.

All five of them have been holding their positions for the last 10 years.
On the other hand, Hasina’s new 47-member cabinet includes 31 new faces, 27 of them first-time lawmakers.
Unlike the previous cabinets, none of her party’s senior leaders are in the cabinet this time.
