Four Bangladeshi workers have been killed in a bus accident in Dubai on Saturday.
AKM Mizanur Rahman, first secretary in Dubai, has confirmed the deaths to the Dhaka Tribune.
A total of 15 people have been killed in the accident.
The deceased were are identified as Md Badrul Hasan, 35, son of Nabi Haq, of Sitakundu, Chittagong, Alamgir, 32, son of Badsha Mia of Matlab, Chandpur, Nazrul, 28, son of Kalimullah of Jaintapur, Sylhet, and Masum Ali, 24, son of Milu Dhali of Chandpur Sadar upazila.
The accident occurred around 8am (local time) when they were going to the workplace from their labour camp along with other workers.
Among the total 15 dead, the remaining 11 were Indian nationals.
Of the total 14 injured, nine were Bangladeshis. Four of them were admitted to the hospital.
Among them Ibrahim Miazee of Chandpur is at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as he is in critical condition, the first secretary told the Dhaka Tribune.
The drivers of a bus and a truck, both Pakistanis, at the center of the crash on Emirates Road in Dubai have both been detained, officials said.
