The final round of AdSpire 2024 was held at the AIUB campus on Thursday, organized jointly by Step Footwear and Accessories Company Limited and the Business Club of the American International University Bangladesh (AIUB).
This year's competition featured over 100 teams, competing in four categories: "Stories of Life in Sneakers," "Small Moments & Big Occasions," "Stylish Step," and "Walk the Talk."
Among them, videos from 40 teams were showcased on Step Footwear's social media platforms.
In the final round, 16 teams- four from each category competed for the championship.
The day-long event was attended by Shamim Kabir, Managing Director of Step Footwear, and Aminul Islam Shamim, CEO of the company.
Additionally, faculty members of the American International University Bangladesh (AIUB), including Dr Farheen Hassan, Dr Rezbin Nahar, Dr Mohammad Faridul Alam, Dr Ziarat Hossain Khan, and Dr Mohammad Ali, were present at the event.
The competition's judging panel featured popular actor Monir Khan Shimul, Mohammad Niaz Mozumdar, and Soumendra Sankar Das.
In this lively competition, the championship was claimed by Team Dominators, consisting of Sabbir Ahmed Shuvo, Rakib Hasan, Md Emon Khan, and Shahriar Kabir Sheko.
The first runners-up were The Trio, made up of Chayan Adhikari, Wasell Chowdhury, and Shopnil Mihan.
The second runners-up were Pitch Perfect, represented by Nuzhat Mihika, Sheikh Nabil Rahman, Ashfiya Mahmud Yeana, and Abtahi Abrar.
The third runners-up were Sole-Walk, comprising Md Mahamudul Hossain Rabbi, Md Farhan Sadiq, Mumtahina Binte Hossain, and Nazmul Hasan Rafi.
As prizes, the champion team received Tk30,000, the first runners-up team received Tk20,000, the second runners-up team received Tk10,000, and the third runners-up team received Tk5,000.
At the conclusion of the event, the guests and judges distributed prizes and crests among the winning teams.
The program concluded with an enchanting cultural performance.
This competition has offered a unique opportunity for AIUB students to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, which will play a vital role in enhancing their professional skills in the future.
