Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has been re-elected for the fifth time in Noakhali-5 seat by a huge margin.
Obaidul Quader bagged 181,279 votes while his nearest contender managed to secure only 9,702 ballots with the Plough symbol.

Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Dewan Mahbubur Rahman declared him the winner unofficially on Sunday evening.
