Jatiya Party (JaPa) Chairman and Rangpur-3 candidate GM Quader on Sunday said that he is afraid of his party being used as a sacrifice in the general election.
He, however, said the polling situation was satisfactory in Rangpur.
He made these remarks after visiting the New Senpara polling station in the city on Sunday.
However, he mentioned that a complete assessment could only be made after the polls concluded.
GM Quader expressed concern that the government might manipulate the votes.

He added that such a scenario would lead the government back to a state of complete tyranny.
Despite these concerns, GM Quader showed optimism.
He acknowledged receiving complaints that polling agents supporting their candidate in Comilla and Dhaka constituencies had been removed.
He emphasized that the overall situation still seemed good, and a final assessment would have to wait until the polls concluded.
GM Quader assured that they were closely monitoring the situation.
