GM Quader, chairman of the Jatiya Party, will not be able to exercise his franchise in the national parliamentary polls scheduled for Sunday.
Abdur Razzak, member secretary of Rangpur district unit Jatiya Party, also member secretary of the election conducting committee, said that GM Quader is staying in Rangpur right now but he is a voter of Dhaka.
The JaPa chairman is contesting in the polls from the Rangpur-3 constituency with the Plough symbol.
On the day of the election, he will monitor the polling situation in his constituency and will monitor the polling of the entire country from Rangpur, said Abdur Razzak.
However, he will not be able to cast his own vote as he is not a voter from Rangpur.
