State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid on Saturday said that training programs for polling agents to get them well trained are vital to conducting the voting smoothly.
"For flawless and accurate votes in the upcoming national parliament election, polling agents must be trained properly through necessary training programs," said Nasrul.
The state minister was addressing a training program arranged by him as Awami League nominated candidate for the Dhaka-3 constituency.
A total of 1,500 polling agents joined the training program and workshop held at Jisan Community Center at Badamgach Tala on Saturday.
CEO of The Eventor Company Mohammad Iqbal Hossain Patwari, Upazila AL President and Upazila Chairman Shahin Ahmed, Jinjira Union Parishad Chairman Shakur Hossain Saku, and party leaders and workers were present on the occasion.
