The Election Commission has cancelled leave of its officials at all levels until the 11th general election.
The commission’s Joint Secretary SM Asaduzzaman on Thursday said that the leave of all officers and staff of the commission at all levels, and returning officers and assistant returning officers at the field level were cancelled until the election.
The general election will be held across Bangladesh on December 30.
According to the election schedule, the last date for candidates to submit nomination papers is November 28.
The nomination papers will be scrutinized on December 2 and the deadline to withdraw candidature is December 9.
