Online registration for sixth-grade students at the Dhaka Board will begin on September 10 and continue until October 9.
To register, students must be at least 9 years old, with a maximum age limit of 15.
However, for students with special needs, the maximum age limit can be up to 20 years, reports Samakal.
The registration fee is Tk74.
According to a notification from the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board issued on Monday, the registration process for sixth grade started last year as part of the new curriculum implementation.
The notification states that students must log in to the board’s website using the designated OMES/eSIF button with their EIIIN and password to provide their registration information.
After logging in, they need to click on eSIF SIX from the dashboard, enter the applicant’s name, mobile number, and number of students, and print the slip from Sonali Seba.
The form cannot be photocopied and submitted to the bank. Payment must be cleared within 24 hours for the students' eSIF to be completed. Once payment is cleared, the Sonali Seba slip can be reprinted by the institution heads, who can also enter data for any students who missed the initial registration.
Students studying at recognized and permitted educational institutions can register under their own institution's name. Students from unrecognized institutions must register through the nearest or adjacent authorized lower secondary, secondary, school, or college. Unrecognized institutions will not be allowed to register students through their own schools under any circumstances.
