University of Asia Pacific (UAP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for increased partnership with Ondokus Mayis University (OMU), Turkey, on May 20 through an online ceremony.
The MoU has several objectives, including administratively and within academics, research collaboration, exchange programs, and other educational, scientific, and cultural projects, including joint-degree programs.
Acting Vice-Chancellor of UAP Prof Md Sultan Mahmud and Rector of OMU Prof Yavuz Unal signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
Attendees of the event included: Ambassador Mosud Mannan, Bangladesh ambassador to Turkey; Ambassador Mustafa Osman Turan, Turkish ambassador to Bangladesh; C M Shafi Sami, chairman of the board of trustees of UAP; Abdullah Al Masud, registrar at UAP; Dr. Nehreen Majed, director of the Office of International Affairs at UAP, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said Kursunoglu at OMU.
Members of the board of trustees and other UAP officials were present at the signing ceremony.
