The Dhaka Tribune has found certain groups on Facebook called SSC exam question 2017 Dhaka Board and SSC 2017 100% common question offer question papers the night before the exam and accept online payment after the exams are held.

There has always been the practice of leaking question papers in Bangladesh and with the advent of technology the practice is more fluid and untraceable now.

Last year, the question papers were being circulated on WhatsApp, a mobile messaging service which now offers end to end encryption meaning the data is inaccessible to everyone except to those who are communicating.

One exam candidate said: “We are aware of the question paper being leaked on Facebook. The set of question papers arrive at the exam centres around 8pm, the question papers are usually leaked online around midnight. This is not a surefire way of getting top grades as there are four sets of question papers, A, B, C and D. If they upload set A but the during the exam we are presented with set C then there is no point.”
