A cocktail exploded on the road in front of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Segunbagicha, Dhaka, at around 1:30pm on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police of Ramna Division Zahidul Islam confirmed the incident.
He said: “I heard about the cocktail explosion in front of Shilpakala Academy. Necessary measures are being taken.”
He added that another crude bomb exploded in front of the High Court at around the same time.
