Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has announced a revised metro rail schedule for Pahela Baishakh.
In a notification issued on Monday, the metro rail operator said two stations will remain closed on Tuesday due to the Bengali New Year celebrations.
According to the notice, Shahbagh Metro Station will remain closed until 12pm, while Dhaka University Metro Station will remain closed for the entire day.
The authorities said the decision has been taken for the convenience and safety of passengers during the festivities.
