8-yr-old Magura rape survivor suffers 2 more cardiac arrests

An eight-year-old child rape survivor from Magura remained in extremely critical condition at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka, the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing said Thursday.

Doctors reported two cardiac arrests during the day, following four on Wednesday, it added.

“The second time, the heart was revived after nearly 30 minutes of CPR,” it mentioned.

Brain function had ceased, with a GCS (Glasgow Coma Scale) score of 3, while blood pressure and oxygen levels were dangerously low, the press wing said.
