Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC Limited has informed that gas supply will be suspended for all categories of customers in several areas of Dhaka on Tuesday, for a period of 13 hours, from 10am to 11pm.
The affected areas include the Baridhara Diplomatic Zone (Roads 11, 12, 13, and 14), Baridhara New DOHS, Jagannathpur, Northa, Kalachandpur, Lichubagan, Jowar Sahara, Kuratali, the entire Bashundhara Residential Area (up to 300 feet), and the region from the northeast side of the American Embassy to Kuril Bishwa Road. Residents in surrounding areas may also experience reduced gas pressure during the same period.
The suspension is necessary to facilitate the relocation of Titas Gas pipelines for the underground station alignment of MRT Line-1, under the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited's ongoing project.
Titas Gas has apologized for the temporary inconvenience and urged affected customers to take necessary precautions.
