Call to revoke bail and halt activities of Saad followers

During a protest rally on Friday at the north gate of the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram, organized by Ulama Mashayekh Bangladesh and the Tawhidi public after Jummah prayer, a call was made to revoke the bail of the attackers at the Tongi Ijtema ground and ban the activities of Saad followers in Bangladesh.

Speakers at the rally highlighted that in the future, there will be only one Ijtema in Tongi, not two.

They also demanded the prohibition of the misguided activities of Saad followers at the Ijtema ground, the cancellation of their bail, and swift justice for those involved in the Tongi killings.

The speakers further said that Saad followers would not be allowed to conduct Tabligh or organize Ijtema.

They mentioned that it was unacceptable for them to openly commit murder and then obtain bail, highlighting the need to revoke their bail.

The rally featured speeches from Maulana Sakhawat Hossain, Maulana Anwar Hossain, Maulana Abu Hashem Kashfi, Maulana Ataur Rahman, Maulana Ali Osman, Maulana Mosaddeq Billah, Maulana Delwar Hossain, Maulana Emdadullah, Maulana Faisal, Maulana Afsar Mahmud, Maulana Mujibur Rahman, and others.
