Maizbhandar Sharif to host grand Eid-e-Miladunnabi event

The Gausia Maizbhandaria Habibia Committee has announced that Maizbhandar Sharif will hold an event on Monday on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi.

The event will commence in the morning after Fajr prayer with Quran recitation, Hamd and Naat-E-Rasool, according to a press release.

Renowned Islamic scholars from all over Bangladesh will convene to speak at the event with hundreds of thousands of devout Muslims from all over Bangladesh in attendance.

The current imam of Maizbhandar Sharif, Mowlana Syed Habibul Bashar Maizbhandari, will preside over the events and lead a procession from Mirpur Maizhbhandar Khanka Sharif (opposite Hazrat Shah Ali Baghdadi Mazar Sharif, Mirpur 1, Dhaka) at noon.

The event will conclude after the procession before Zuhr prayer with Salat-o-Salam (Milaad Sharif) and Akheri Munazat by Mowlana Syed Habibul Bashar Maizbhandari.

There will also be a protest organized at the same time against terrorists and anti-Bangladesh groups in light of recent vandalism and attacks on Sufi Shrines (Mazars) in the name of Islam to destabilize the country, defame Islam and hurt the sentiments of millions of Muslims across the country.

The Gausia Maizbhandaria Habibia Committee thanked the chief adviser for his statement on September 14 and urged the government and law enforcement agencies to bring all criminals to justice promptly.

“We also want to draw the attention of the government and the law enforcement agencies to clamp down on people propagating hate speech and harassment of women. Tabarruk (food) will be distributed amongst the poor and also at a number of orphanages and educational institutions throughout the day. The entire event is being organized and managed by the Gausia Maizbhandaria Habibia Committee which is the principal organization assigned for the management of Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif-related affairs.”
