The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have agreed to collaborate in order to reduce traffic congestion and crime in concerned areas.
A committee comprising members from both parties will be formed soon.
The agreement was reached in a meeting held at the DNCC Nagar Bhaban in the capital’s Gulshan area on Tuesday .
The DNCC's law and order control and anti-terrorism standing committee will coordinate these efforts.
The board meeting was chaired by DNCC Mayor Md Atiqul Islam.
