Following the deadly explosion on Tuesday, a side road of the location has been closed due to rescue operations in Dhaka's Siddikbazar.
Since the explosion took place, a large crowd had formed in front of the damaged building. Some of them are busy taking photos while others have come to visit the location to witness the situation.
The law enforcers are trying their hardest but unable to remove them from the spot. The movement of vehicles is also being disrupted, along with the rescue work.
Moreover, people coming from far away to Dhaka are also suffering due to the traffic congestion in the area.
Saiful, who was taking pictures in the crowd, said: “I live in the neighbouring area. There was a big explosion here yesterday (Tuesday). I could not even come near the house. So today I came to see what happened here”.
One of the security personnel deployed in the area said: "I don't understand why people are crowding here. Overcrowding is hampering rescue operations. There movement slowed down due to the overcrowding”.

Anis, driver's assistant of Victor Classic Paribahan, said: “The road is almost closed in Gulistan. We are facing huge difficulties crossing this area”.
Savar Paribahan supervisor Monir Hossain said: “Crossing Gulistan has become difficult. One side road is closed. From Sadarghat, the passengers are getting bored as the car crosses Gulistan. Many passengers left the public transports and started walking on their way. Moreover, the number of passengers is also less today (Wednesday).”
So far, 19 people were killed in the blast. Many were injured. At least 20 of the injured persons are now undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
